Flushed Cheeks!

I am still looking forward to the warmer month and a big trend for this spring/summer is flushed cheeks.  The aim is to create a natural healthy flush to your cheeks that looks like it is coming from within. This looks best when paired with slightly contoured cheeks. To create a subtle contour take an angled contour brush and sweep a matte bronzer just under your cheek bones. This creates the definition in your cheeks and makes them look chiselled. My favourite contour powder is MAC bronzing powder in Matte Bronze, £20.

Now to create the flush you see on Burberry and Chloe catwalks you want to use a cream blush in a pink. Choose the shade of pink that suit your skin tone, if you are not sure test few shades out on the back of your hand. Apply the cream with your fingers in a round shape; this will warm the cream into your skin making it seem very natural. Make sure the blush is blended well into your skin. Try Revlon’s PhotoReady Cream Blush, £7.99 or my other favourite Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge, £19.

Combine flushed cheeks with a sweep of pink blush over your eyelids for a romantic spring look as seen at Burberry. Or for a more luxurious look combine with soft golden eye shadows.

Let me know what your favourtie products are for this look?

Love Fiona
