This look is bold and bright and takes some confidence to wear but looks great on everyone. Orange seems to be the new red this spring! Orange lips were seen all over the catwalks at London Fashion week including DKNY and Rag &Bone. The celebrities have now followed this trend and it is taken the red carpet by storm, from subtle peaches to all out bright orange lips.
To follow this look at home, it is up to you how you choose to wear this trend. You can go neon, matte or more subtle. When finding your orange lipstick try an orange that has a hint of red in it, as it more flattering for your skin such as Nars lipstick in Heatwave, £18.50.
For bold lips try layering on MAC lipstick in Morange, £15. If you prefer a subtle hint to the trend use an orange/peach tint or a gloss. My favourite is Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturising Lip Colour Balm in Oversized Orange, £17. This gives a subtle amount of orange colour and leaves the lips glossy. Easy to apply without a mirror, perfect!
As this is such a strong look keep the rest of the face simple and natural. Stick to natural colour eye shadows such as brown and beiges. You want you lips to do all the talking!
