Berry Good skin

We all want a glowing, flawless complexion, I know I do! I try all sorts of potions and lotions on my face to get gorgeous skin but the truth is the best way to your glowing perfection is from the inside out. The aim is use your diet to get your skin looking great.  By adding nutrient-rich fruit and vegetables into your diet you can help your skin get a healthy glow and even protect it from premature ageing. With all the fruits and vegetables you will be consuming you will also feel great too, which is an added bonus.

One of the key ingredients for great skin is berries. Great, I love berries! So I tried a couple of smoothie recipes to get as many goodies in one go as possible, and of course we want them to taste nice. Berries are full of antioxidants and help prevent skin cell damage and premature ageing. Well pass the blueberries please? My favourite smoothie recipe so far is:
•    Lots of different berries either fresh or frozen (Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries
•    Banana (this adds natural sweetness)
•    Walnuts
•    Lemon/lime juice
•    Spinach
•    Coconut water
•    Cinnamon

You can mix up these ingredients to suit your tastes but the basis is to get some of those good antioxidant berries in there. Blueberries are a particularly good superfood.
